We help product teams adopt the agentic-PM playbook — Briefs, computed status, verification gates, outcome attribution — on whatever stack you've committed to. Modeled on the high-end strategic-narrative consulting that firms like end.game do for GTM, but applied to product-management transformation. Founder-led. Small number of concurrent engagements. Real outcomes, not productized SKUs.
We're deliberately constraining ourselves at the start so that early engagements get our undivided attention and produce visible outcomes.
Two decades of leadership at
Two decades of product and engineering leadership across media, entertainment, and consumer-internet brands. Founder-led delivery on every engagement — credentials inform what real transformation looks like.
We're PM33 — building a platform for the agentic era of product management, dogfeeding it on our own product, and talking weekly with PMs at $15B-budget enterprise PMOs and 12-person Series A startups. Most of those conversations end in a platform purchase. A meaningful fraction don't — and the ones that don't all sound the same:
"We can't replace our existing tool yet — we have a 4-year contract and a regulatory review board that won't approve a tooling change this year. But we still need to figure out how to ship Briefs, wire computed status, and train our 200 PMs in the new skill stack. Can you help us do that on the stack we already have?"
For months we politely declined those conversations because PM33 was platform-only. The pattern was consistent enough — and the demand was real enough — that we decided to open a services arm. Today, we're announcing it. Read the full launch story →
Four engagement shapes, each designed for a specific class of need. None are productized. All are scoped through a discovery conversation.
A 3-week facilitated deep-dive that audits your current state and produces a prioritized 90-day transformation plan.
We run your team through the 20-question Maturity Assessment in workshop form, audit your existing artifacts and workflows, and deliver an executive-ready report with a per-category scorecard, a 90-day action plan, a 12-month roadmap to L2/L3, and a specific vendor recommendation (PM33 or alternative).
Best for
$500M–$5B ARR product organizations who suspect they're behind the curve but lack an outside benchmark.
A 6-week focused engagement to wire one high-value workflow end-to-end on your existing stack.
We work alongside your team — not behind a wall — to wire one specific workflow: a Q3 OKR for computed status, Briefs adoption for one product area, auto-done verification on your CI surface, the 3-view roadmap pattern with drift alerts. By the end, the pattern is owned internally, not dependent on us.
Best for
Teams who know what they want to ship but need expert collaboration to ship it correctly the first time.
A 6–12 month multi-workstream engagement for large product organizations migrating from legacy to agentic workflows.
Maturity audit (compressed), implementation sprints in waves across 3–5 workstreams, change-management work training PMs in the new skill stack and redesigning career ladders, vendor selection support (including evaluating PM33 platform fit honestly), quarterly executive readouts with computed-status data on the transformation itself.
Best for
$1B+ ARR product organizations with 100+ PMs and a multi-year transformation commitment.
An embedded relationship with a senior product leader. Monthly retainer. Bi-weekly calls. Async availability for inflection-point decisions.
For PMs who want expert perspective without a multi-quarter engagement. Particularly useful for new CPOs inheriting mid-transformation teams, heads of product at Series B–D startups needing outside calibration, or PM leaders developing an AI-strategy answer for their CEO.
Best for
Individual leaders who want expert perspective without a multi-quarter commitment.
We're explicit about this so the engagement scoping conversation is clear.
The platform is self-serve by design. If you need someone to write Briefs on your behalf instead of teaching your team to write them, you're not buying advisory — you're buying contract labor.
If we audit your team and the recommendation is platform adoption and you've already decided against it, we'll say so honestly and end the engagement. We won't bill against a recommendation we don't believe in.
If the engagement scope is "produce a 60-slide AI strategy deck for our board," we'll politely refer you to McKinsey or a similar firm. We do operational transformation, not deck production.
Email hello@pm-33.com with a 2-3 sentence description of what you're trying to figure out.
We talk through your situation, your existing stack, your transformation goals, and your timeline. We say yes, no, or "here's what we'd actually recommend instead."
Written engagement scope, deliverables, timeline, fee. Specific. No filler.
Weekly or bi-weekly working sessions depending on shape. All artifacts produced are yours. No proprietary deliverable formats.
Written outcomes summary. Public case study if you consent.
Every engagement is bespoke — sized to the outcome you need, your team’s size, your existing stack, and the complexity of your transformation. We do not publish rate cards because no two engagements are the same shape.
The discovery call is where scope, timeline, and pricing all get defined together — based on what you actually need, not on a productized SKU. No fee for the call. We respond within 2 business days.
PM33 Services launches with three deliverers. Small, deliberately constrained capacity at the start so that early engagements get our undivided attention and produce visible outcomes.
Steve Saper
Founder & CEO · Founder-led delivery
Founder of PM33. Brings the platform-level expertise + the dogfeeding learnings from 12+ months of running our own product on our own agentic-PM stack. Delivers Audit and Transformation Program engagements personally for the first 3-6 customers.
Steve Saper
Advisor-in-Residence
In the Fractional Agentic-PM Advisor role: embedded relationship with senior product leaders, monthly retainer, bi-weekly calls, async availability for inflection-point decisions. Direct outside-perspective sparring on org redesign, vendor selection, comp band updates, and hiring for the new skill stack.
Contract Specialists
Change-management & regulated-industry
Two specialty advisors brought in for engagements that need deep domain expertise: change-management at 800-PM scale, and procurement/governance/compliance in regulated industries (healthcare, financial services, federal). Named per-engagement.
Capacity at launch: 3-5 concurrent engagements. We'll scale capacity as demand validates. We're deliberately constraining ourselves at the start so that early engagements get our undivided attention and produce visible outcomes.
No. The Services practice is explicitly vendor-neutral. We'll help you adopt the agentic-PM playbook on Jira, Linear, Aha!, ClickUp, your custom internal tool, or PM33 — whichever you're committed to. Where PM33 is genuinely the better fit, we'll say so; where an alternative is, we'll recommend the alternative.
Three ways. (1) Founder-led delivery for the first 3-6 engagements — not a junior delivery team. (2) Vendor-neutral by design — we'll recommend alternatives where alternatives are better. (3) Small number of concurrent engagements (3-5 at a time) so you get our undivided attention.
During the discovery call we evaluate three things: is the problem one we can credibly help with, is the team ready to do the work alongside us (not just consume deliverables), and do we have current capacity. If any of those is "no," we'll either decline or refer you to a better-fit partner.
2-4 weeks. Inquiry → discovery call (within 1 week) → scoping proposal (within 1 week of discovery) → engagement kickoff (within 2 weeks of signed proposal). Enterprise engagements with procurement review can take 6-10 weeks.
Mutual NDA at scoping-proposal stage. Standard, no negotiation needed on the standard clauses.
We'll publish case studies as engagements complete (with customer consent). Early engagements run through Q3 2026; case studies start publishing Q4 2026. For now, the closest case study available is our own — PM33 is the dogfeeding customer of the playbook we sell.
Not as a standalone offering today. Training is embedded within the Implementation Sprint and Transformation Program engagements. If training-only is your primary need, we'll likely refer you to a partner firm focused exclusively on PM training.
